The SOCLab is fully equipped with the necessary infrastructure for carrying out synthetic organic chemistry related research work.

In addition, the Department of Chemistry and the Laboratory for Instrumental Analysis, a central research facility of the University of Patras, are equipped with all the necessary equipments for the complete identification and characterization of synthesized compounds (spectrometers 400 MHz ΝΜR, GC-MS, ESI-MS, HPLC-ESI-MS, UV and IR instruments and CHNS analyzers).

Other, more specialized equipment (e.g. HRMS, MALDI-TOF/TOF) is available to our research group through long-standing collaborations with research groups in other European Universities (e.g. University of Calabria, Italy and University of Bergen, Norway).
