Research Interests

1. Discovery and development of small organic molecules and of natural product analogues/ derivatives (e.g. abietanes; polyamines; endoperoxides; retinoids; psoralens) with anticancer (Hedgehod pathway inhibitors; Cancer Stem Cell differentiators; Anti-angionic agents), antibacterial (against MRSA strains) and antimalarial activity. [MAIN]
2. Synthesis of Bioconjugates aiming at improvement of the pharmacological profile of a bioactive compound  or drug delivery.

3. Synthesis of labeling reagents (heavy/ light) for applications in analysis by Mass Spectrometry.

4. Solid Phase Synthesis of “chemical probes” for applications in Mass Spectrometry Proteomics.
